How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us when you book a repair or contact our shop.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

1. Who we are

We operate a smartphone repair service and are the data controller for the personal information described on this page. Our contact details are shown in the footer of every page.

2. What information we collect

We only collect what we need to carry out a repair and to contact you about it:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number and email address.
  • Device details — brand, model, reported fault and any repair history you tell us about.
  • Booking details — the service you selected, your preferred visit type, date and time.
  • Message content — anything you write in the contact form, by email or over WhatsApp.
  • Service records — what work was performed, which parts were used and the warranty period.

We do not ask for and do not need your payment card details through this website. Payment is taken in the shop after the repair.

3. How we use your information

  • To prepare, perform and deliver the repair you requested.
  • To contact you about the diagnosis, price confirmation and collection of your device.
  • To handle warranty claims and follow-up questions about previous repairs.
  • To meet our accounting and legal obligations.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing messages unless you have specifically asked us to.

4. Data stored on your device

Repairing a phone sometimes requires unlocking it to test the repaired functions. Our technicians never browse, copy or export your personal content. Where a repair can be tested without unlocking the device, we will do so.

We strongly recommend backing up your device before any repair. Some faults make data loss unavoidable, and no repair can guarantee that existing data survives.

For data recovery services, we only access the specific files you ask us to recover, and any working copies are deleted once you confirm you have received them.

5. Sharing with third parties

We share personal information only where it is necessary:

  • With parts suppliers or specialist labs when a repair cannot be completed in our shop — limited to the device details required.
  • With our accountant and tax authorities where the law requires it.
  • With service providers that host our website or email, under agreements that limit them to processing data on our instructions.

6. How long we keep your data

Repair records are kept for the duration of the warranty period plus the retention period required by law. Contact form enquiries that do not lead to a repair are deleted within 12 months.

7. Cookies and website analytics

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work correctly. If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data.
  • Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

9. Contacting us about privacy

To exercise any of the rights above, or if you have a question about this policy, use the contact details in the footer. We respond to every request within 30 days.
